GD-goal defense
GA-goal attack
WD-wing defense
WA- wing attack
It starts off when one team starts with the ball, then they pass it off to their team mate. they have to make it down to their goalies so then either one of the goalies has a go at shooting for goal. they only earn one point and the the team with the most points wins. the ball they use is a round ball, if you're a GK and you're defending the GS, and they throw the ball and it lands in your hands the GK becomes the attacker. There are different age groups for netball, some are, U11,U13,U15,U17, then it goes into D,C,B,A. If you're a defender or attacker you have to defend from three feet. you are NOT allowed to touch your opposition. if you defend to close the umpire will blow the whistle and say obstruction and if you touch your opposition the umpire with call out contact. There are 4 quarters and depends on what age group your in there will be a timer.
